  • WHY ITALY?

In the heart of Tuscany, enjoy the lovely grounds of Villa Martiena, and its unparalleled views. Go for a swim in our infinity pool, have an intimate picnic under the olive groves, enjoy a glass of wine in of of the many terraces, or just simply relax as you listen to the lovely sound of birds calling, a gentle breeze in your face, and the distant sound of church bells as your relax your mind, body, and soul.

The Italian peninsula is quite possibly one of the most visually stunning places to visit. Green rolling hills lush with Mediterranean vegetation, still-inhabited stone castles weathered by time, medieval villages bustling with the daily activity of both modern AND age-old trade… Such eye-candy veritably punctuates a landscape flanked by resource-rich seas to the west, south and east and the towering natural fortification of the alps to the north, making it not only an ideal hub for maritime trade, but naturally defensible, allowing a people to develop a rich culture with relatively little unwanted interruption from outside forces.

At its center lays the legacy of a culture with roots dating back several thousand years. In this Tuscan countryside, we find a quaint and well-appointed villa surrounded by a region fairly teeming with living evidence of a culture that is still defined by its love for art, eye-popping architecture, luxury goods & fashion, and some of the most refined agricultural achievements humans have endeavored to practice – sure signs of a culture that measures its standard of living based on good eating, drinking, and appreciation of the highest degree of aesthetics. Join us as we explore this world with our dear friends in an authentic setting with epic views and idyllic accommodations.

  • ACCOMMODATIONS
    Amazing Villa / farmhouse

Our home-base while in Italy will be the quaint-and-idyllic-as-can-possibly-be Villa Martiena, most conveniently perched atop a hillside (ie: gorgeous views), steps from the gates of the historic village of Montepulciano. The structure was originally built in the 700’s as an olive oil factory. It remained a factory up until 1927 and is one of the oldest structures in Montepulciano. In 1938 this historic site was converted into a residence as a part of a beatification and rescue effort by the city. In 1994 it was converted into the villa that stands today with the annex portion of the structure still retaining its original character.

Since purchasing Villa Martiena in 2017, Giorgio and Simon have been renovating and updating it while maintaining the historic charm and beauty of this truly unique property, and its exceptional views. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom for your comfort, and the villa is equipped with spacious grounds, a lovely pool, and several terraces for your idle enjoyment.

Please note; Depending on any sort of eventuality that may arise during our trip, on any of our Tuscan towns; At our discretion, we may change the itinerary and/or a scheduled city in order to provide the best experience for our guests.
